Obituary of Stella Foley

Stella V. Foley was ushered into the glorious presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 13, 2011. She was born on October 8, 1933 in Manville, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George and Henrietta (nee Tylutki) Paduch. She lived in Manville, Bound Brook, NJ, Easton and Honesdale, PA. Stella was a resisdent of Warren Haven Nursing Home. Stella’s most favorite thing to do was to enjoy her grandchildren and great granddaughter. She loved her family intensely and spoke about them to everyone she met. Her infectious smile and helpful attitude blessed countless people and she always had a story to tell or some advice to share. Her adventurous spirit was displayed when she drove across the United States twice. In 2009, one of her deepest desires, to be surrounded by all of her family in one place at one time, was fulfilled. After coming to Christ, her other desire was fulfilled when she recently displayed her obedience to her Lord in Baptism at Abundant Life Community Church. One of Stella’s favorite scriptures is one she demonstrated in both happy times and tough times. Psalm 63:4 “ I will bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.” She is predeceased by her loving husband; Elbert “Al” Otis Foley of 30 years.She is survived by her son; David Foley and wife Gretchen of Washington, NJ, 2 daughters; Donna Servidio of Phillipsburg, NJ, and Debra Garry and husband David of Provo, UT,son-in-law; Bob Fetcho of Jermyn, PA, 11 grandchildren, one-great-granddaughter, and many nephews, nieces, church family, and friends. She is also predeceased by her daughter; Darlene Fetcho of Jermyn,PA, and ten brothers and sisters. A celebration of life will be held at the Abundant Life Community Church, Port Murray on Monday, April 18, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be from 9-10:00 a.m. prior to the service.
