Obituary of Nydia Acosta

Nydia Acosta, 87, of Washington Township, NJ, passed away peacefully at her home on February 11, 2014. She was born on September 7, 1926 in Cabaiguan, Cuba to the late Justo and Natividad (Brito) Sanchez. She was married to the late Pedro Oscar Acosta who proceeded her in death in 2007. She was a sewing machine operator for Hudson Valley Leather and Goods in Newburgh, NY. She was of the Catholic Faith. She is survived by her son and daughter in law Oscar and Daniella Acosta, Washington, NJ, her son and daughter in law Julian and Mayra Acosta, Union, NJ. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren. Viewing will be held on February 15, 2014 from 6-8 pm at the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. Cremation will be held at the H.G. Smith Crematory Stroudsburg, PA.
