Obituary of Dennis Smith

Dennis J Smith, 69 life long resident of Oxford NJ died Tuesday August 19th at St Lukes Warren Campus. Born in Oxford October 13, 1944 he was the son of the late Howard and Estella Smith. He retired from the Warren County Road Department where he was in the Paint Crew and was also a driver. Dennis was a life member of the Oxford Volunteer Fire Department. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also a member of the Golden Arrow Motorcycle Club in Phillipsburg NJ Surviving is his wife of 48 years Nora (Hacker) Smith, a son Dennis J Smith Jr of Oxford NJ,daughters Michele Price and her husband Jeff of Oxford NJ, Pauline Price and her husband Marvin of Hampton NJ, grandchildren Shana, Courtney, Tyler, Bradley, Jesse and David and a great grandchild Hailee. Two sisters Bertha Havens and Pauline Miller preceded him in death Calling hours will be Friday morning from 10-11:30 followed by a funeral service at 11:30 in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave, Washington NJ 07882. Interment in the Hillside Cemetery Oxford NJ.
