Obituary of Maria Mancuso

Maria G. Mancuso, 89, formerly of Denver, CO passed away peacefully at Rolling Hills Hunterdon Center on Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Maria was born on February 4, 1922 in New York City, NY. She is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anthony and Maria ( nee Perone) Mancuso. Maria was a homemaker and cared for her four children. She was a parshioner of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, Hampton, NJ. She enjoyed knitting, table games, and loved listening to music. Maria was a crossing guard in Jackson Heights, NY. She is predeceased by her husband; Otis Matthews in 1957. She is survived by a son; Robert Matthews, two daughters; Shirley and husband Martin Fafette of Bath, PA, Patricia and husband Stephen Keely of Glen Gardner, NJ, two grandchildren; Piper Lynn Keely-Aron, and Donna Lynn Roloff, one great-granddaughter; Amy Lynn Morgia. She is also predeceased by a son; Joseph Matthews. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc., 136 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, 34 Main Street, Hampton, NJ 08827.
