Obituary of Humberto Casanova

Humberto Casanova, 85 of Somerset, New Jersey passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Saint Peter's University Hospital. Humberto was born on March 12, 1925 in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico. He is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fransico and Juanita (nee Cano-Degado de-Casanova) Casanova Marrero. He was a member of the Senior Citizen Center, Frankiln Township, NJ. He was one of eleven children. Humberto was a quality control inspector for Hoffman-LaRoche Pharmaceutical, Belvidere, NJ. Humberto was a father figure to many. He was a parshioner of Mt. Pisgah A.M.E. Church, Washington, NJ and Premier Family Life Church, Somerset, NJ. He is predeceased by his loving wife, Loretta VanHorn in 2000. He is survived by brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mt. Pisgah A.M.E. Church, 169 North Lincoln Avenue, Washington, NJ 07882 The Visitation will be Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.The burial will be in the Washington Cemetery, Washington, NJ.
