Obituary of Pearl Mary Baldwin

P. Mary Baldwin, 89, formerly of Washington, NJ, Arizona and Florida went peacefully in her sleep to be with our Lord on April 16, 2016. She was born to Cosimo and Angelina (Ettore) Pulieri in Oxford, NJ on November 2, 1926. She was united in marriage to Robert C. Baldwin on November 4, 1946. He preceded her in death on March 28, 2002. They were married for 56 blissful years. Mary was a 1945 graduate of Washington High School and went on to work at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., as a secretary for the Belvidere County Court House and to the Deputy Keeper at the Edna Mann Correctional Facility in Clinton. Mary and Bob ran a candy store on Taylor Street in Washington in the 50s-60s. After moving to Arizona, Mary and Bob became owners of the Sears Catalog Store in Green Valley prior to her retiring from the Pima County Health Department in Arizona in 1991. Mary was a member of the Eastern Star of Mansfield Masonic Lodge #36 F&AM. Mary loved the Lord and was a long standing member of the First Presbyterian Church of Washington, NJ. She and her husband loved to travel and Mary enjoyed astrology, painting, gardening, and spending time with friends and family. Mary is survived by her two daughters (and their spouses) Bonnie (William) Krieger of Saylorsburg, PA; Robin (Edward) Sandoval of Florence, NJ; one loving granddaughter, Ashley (Stephen) Owen of Kansas City, Missouri; one sister Anna (William) Piccione of Lakewood, NJ, as well as a cousin, Neal Torino and many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her three brothers Frank, Rich, and Cos Pulieri, and two sisters Mary Ellen Turner and Esther Wright. Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, April 22, 2016 at the Heritage Baptist Church of Mt. Laurel, NJ for friends and family. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer's organization at alz.org or to the Grace Hospice Foundation at gracehospicefoundation.org would be appreciated.
