Obituary of Ronald Allen

Ronald A. Allen 50 of Washington NJ died at the home of his long time companion Elizabeth Jermyn on October 6th. He was born in Berkley West Virginia February 24, 1959 he was the son of William and Thelma Naomi Dolinger Allen. Surviving in addition to Liz, his companion of over 24 years. Are his son Ronald, a daughter Angel Lee, two stepsons Skylar and Brandan, two brothers Edward Allen of Easton PA and Allen Allen of Beckley WV, two sisters Debbie Veres of Martins Creek and Kathy Allen in Smyra Delaware and a granddaughter Eva. He is also survived by many nieces abd nephews and his dog “Cssie, aka Diggie. Ron was a longtime employee at Cherrybrook in Washington, New Jersey where he worked as a maintenance man, as well as setting up for and selling products at dog shows. He had previously held various positions in the construction of new homes. Ron was a “jack of all trades” and could fix anything mechanical or electrical. Ron was a world class cook and landscaper. He loved to barbacue for family get-togethers.He hobbies were fast cars, motorcycles and gardening. You never said “I’m leaving” You never said goodbye You were gone before I knew it And only God Knows why It broke my heart to lose you, But you didn't go alone For part of me went with you, The day God took you home. We’ve shared our lives throughout the years So many memories of a good and loving man We will hold those memories forever in our hearts, Ron Until we are together again Memorial Services will be Sunday at 4PM in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave, Washington NJ 07882.
