Obituary of Gean Karpowich

Gean Ann Karpowich, 66, of Hampton, NJ passed away peacefully at Hunterdon Medical Center on December 10, 2014. She was born on February 20, 1948 to the Leander and Gean (Carpenter) Riffe in Jersey City, NJ. Gean graduated Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, PA. She loved being with her family whom she treasured. She is survived by her loving husband Anthony; her mother; sons Brian and his wife Erin of Erie Colorado, Glen and his wife Allison of Horsham, PA; daughter Amy and her husband Ed Owsik of Plainsboro, NJ; brother Lee Riffee of Kodak, TN.; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister Joy Fitzgerald and her father. Viewing on December 13, 2014 from 10:00-11:30AM with a funeral service following at 11:30 at the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washingotn Ave, Washington NJ.
