Obituary of Ruth Hartrum

Ruth E. Hartrum, 95, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2009 in the Warren Haven Nursing Home, Oxford, NJ. She was born in Silver Lake, NJ, a daughter of the late Alfred and the late Verna Mae (Swayze) Poyer. Ruth was a Licensed Practical Nurse with various nursing homes in the area, retiring from Hunterdon Developmental Center, Clinton NJ. She was the wife of the late Raymond Trimmer, Sr. who passed away in 1964 and the wife of the late Russell Hartrum. Survivors:Ruth is survived by her nine children, Nelson, Charles and Joseph Trimmer of Washington, NJ, Alfred Trimmer of Florida, Clarence Trimmer of Kunkletown, PA, Gene Burtt of Flanders, NJ, Ruth Bloom of Phillipsburg, NJ, and Lorene Palmer of Oxford, NJ; a brother, James Straley of FL; thirty-two grandchildren, forty-seven great grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husbands, a son, Raymond Trimmer, Jr., her sisters, Virginia Weaver, Clara Gibbs, Ida Mae Willy, Mary Cyphers and Helen Burtt and a brother, Alfred Poyer all died earlier.
