Obituary of William Morgan

William G. Morgan, 78, of Great Meadows, New Jersey passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at his home surrounded by family. William was born on February 18, 1934 in Great Meadows, NJ. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Floyd and Catherine ( nee Howell) Morgan. He was a lifetime member of the Cat Hollow Rod and Gun Club and a member of the Butzville Methodist Church. He worked many years for Rogers Transfer and retired from NJ Transit Rail Service. William served for the United States Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Linda ( Shoemaker) Morgan. He is also survived by a son, William Jr. of Great Meadows, NJ, three daughters; Diane and husband Mike of MO, Bonnie Morgan of San Jose, CA, and Julie Morgan of VA, fifteen grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 13, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc., 136 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc. An interment will follow at Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows, NJ.
