Obituary of Betty Brennan

Betty I. Brennan, 86 formerly of Stewartsville and Washington, NJ passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the St. Luke’s Hospice House, Bethlehem, PA. Betty was born on January 6, 1925 in Wilkes Barre, PA. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Elmer and Elizabeth ( nee Lloyd). Betty loved baking and was well known for her cookies, pastie, and especially mint iced tea’s. She was a volunteer at Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ. She was a member of Eastern Star for 63 years. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Washinton, NJ and Pilgrim Presbyterian Church She is predeceased by her loving husband; Martin P. Brennan.She is survived by her two sons; Thomas and wife Denise Brennan of Hellertown, PA and Timothy Brennan of Phillipsburg, NJ, a grand dog; Madison, and long time companion; Earl Meixel. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Jackson Valley Road, Washington, NJ 07882.
