Obituary of Alvah Wydner

Alvah M. Wydner, Sr., 61, of Phillipsburg, NJ passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Easton Hospital, Easton, PA. Alvah was born on April 12, 1951 in Oxford, NJ. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Gladys ( nee Latourette) Wydner. Alvah enjoyed fishing, country music, dancing, and loved painting. He is survived by a son, Alvah M. Wyder, Jr. and fiance Penny of Bristol, TN, two daughters, Heather M. Wydner and husband Ken of Easton, PA, Linda Groff and husband Michael of PA, two brothers, Ronald Wydner of FL and John Lefter of Phillipsburg, NJ, a sister, fourteen grandchildren, and two great- grandchildren He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Wydner. A visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m on Monday, December 10, 2012 at the DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc., 136 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882.
