Obituary of Harry Latteman

Harry C. Latteman, age 62 of Washington died on Friday, December 24, 2010 at St. Lukes Hospital after a long battle with cancer. Harry was born June 6, 1948 in Phillipsburg, NJ. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest and Gladys (neeMiller) Latteman. Harry is a 1966 graduate of Washington High School, Washington, NJ. He graduated from Towson State Univesity with a teaching degree. Harry accepted a job as a school teacher and wrestling coach in St. Mary’s County, Maryland. Harry relocated to New Jersey and became a security guard. Harry was last employed for Securitas Security out of USR Optonix Inc. Hackettstown, New Jersey. Harry is survived by his brother; Kenneth and wife Shelley of Palmer Township, PA and niece; Tara Latteman, several cousins, nieces and nephews, long time friend and care taker; William “Bill” Breslin. A visitation will be 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc. 136 West Washington Ave. Washington, NJ with a service following at 2:00 p.m. There will be a graveside service at Belvidere Cemetery following the service.
