Obituary of Pearl Curry

Pearl Y. Curry, 88, of Washington, New Jersey passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013 at the Care Center of Phillipsburg, Phillipsburg, NJ. Pearl was born on April 11, 1924 in Boston, MA. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Abeham and Madeline (nee Ryder) Gusestry and the late adopted father, Joseph H. Goodstone. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Carol Ike and husband Ray of Washington, NJ; a brother, Arthur Goodstone of Woodbridge, NJ; a sister, Marjorie E. Branks of Weeki Wachee, FL; four grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc., 136 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. A burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Union Cemetery, Califon, NJ 07853.
