Obituary of Robert Bolmer

Robert Milton Bolmer, Sr., 73 of Phillipsburg, NJ, formerly of High Bridge, NJ, died Friday in the Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, Hackettstown, NJ. Robert was born February 13, 1936 in Somerville, NJ, a son of the late Milton and the late Minnie (Cox) Schramm. He was the husband of Nancy (Johnson) since 1995. Robert was a Former Fire Chief of the Glen Gardner Fire Dept. serving from 1967-1968. He was a member of the Jersey Hose Fire Co. and their social club and the Order of the Flea's a social club located in Easton, PA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, traveling and spending time with his children and his entire family. He was employed by Hackettstown Regional Medical Center in the Floor Maintenance Department. Prior to that he was employed by Taylor Wharton Company, High Bridge, NJ as a Mill Wright and held positions with, the Express Times as a courier, Ames Department Store, Atlantic States, Bolmer Floor Sanding and Finishing and Glen Gardner Elementary School. In addition to his wife, Nancy Bolmer of Phillipsburg, NJ, he is survived by his six daughters, Penny Casebeer of Phillipsburg, NJ, Peggy McKinney of East Stroudsburg, PA, Wendy Roberson of Harrisburg, PA, Mindy Hawk of East Stroudsburg, PA, Dinah Goodeluinas of Hershey, PA, Danielle Aldridge of GA and two sons, John Bolmer of Sparta, GA, Robert Bolmer, Jr. of NH; three stepsons, Donald Witner of FL; Arthur Witner of Phillipsburg, NJ and Andy Corson of FL; a sister: Marion Nagy of Frenchtown, NJ. Robert is predeceased by his parents, two sons, Ryan Mallery and Charles Bolmer, two daughters, Wanda and KellyJo Bolmer, and two brothers, Charlie and John Bolmer. Friends may call Wednesday from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at DeVoe Funeral Service Inc., 136 West Washington Ave, Washington, NJ. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Lebanon, NJ.
