Obituary of Elizabeth Bailey

Elizabeth (Lizzie) May Bailey, 90, Of Lopatcong Township, NJ, passed away at the Care Center of Lopatcong on November 2, 2014. She was born in Coleman, GA to the late Fred and Emma (Hill) Boyd on September 26, 1924. She was an inspector for Hoffman LaRoche in Belvidere, NJ. Her last employment was for Warren Haven running the activities for the residents. She was a member of Seniors of Mansfield Township. She was a member of the Hillcrest Seventh Day Adventist Church in Port Murray, NJ. At the church she was the church clerk, she worked with the Children's Choir, the Former Choir Director, The Sabbath School, the Superintendent of Teacher's and the Investment Leader. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas Bailey in 2001. She is survived by her sons Donad of Port Murray, NJ, Douglas of Lopatcong, NJ, Kevin of Lanham, MD. Her brother Joseph Boyd, Port Murray, NJ. Her sisters Gloria Davis of Port Murray, NJ and Juliet Davis of Newark, NJ. And a grandson Thomas. She was also predeceased by her brothers Fred and Willie Boyd. Services will be held on Friday November 7, 2014 at 11 am. Viewing will be before services from 10-11:00 am.
