Dessie R. Rollins, 81 of Port Murray, NJ passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Hackettstown Regional Hospital, Hackettstown, NJ. Dessie was born on March 29, 1930 in New Hebron, Mississippi. She was the daughter of the late Plummer and Emma Berry. She is predeceased by her loving husband Thomas J. Rollins, Sr. She is survived by a brother and several nieces and nephews. She is also predeceased by her son; Thomas J. Rollins, Jr. in 2008. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc., 136 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. A service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. A burial will follow at Washington Cemetery, Washington, NJ.
