William J Charles of Washington, NJ died Monday, January 15, 2007 at Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ at the age of 88. Born July 23, 1918 in Hope Township, NJ he was the son of the late Harry and the late Daisy (Brader) Charles. Wife Anna Charles died January 12, 2004. He was a Truck Driver for 28 years, employed by Jess R. Neufeld Inc. and a bus driver for 18years for West Hunterdon Transit of Frenchtown, NJ. Military He served in the Navy in the Pacific during World War II 05-29-1944 to 12-18-1945. Memberships: Mr. Charles was a member of Member of the Frist Presbyterian Church, Washington, NJ 07882. Survivors: One daughter: Donna Embleton and husband Terry of Washington, NJ; one son: William Charles Jr and wife Robin of Washington, NJ; Stepson Clarence Luckey; Grandchildren: Shelley Danze, Tammy Embleton, Jennifer Charles, Thomas Luckey, Ralph Read Jr., Ricky Read & Debra Caflin; Great Grandchildren: Michael & Domenic Danza, Kevin & Kelly Caflin, Brianna & Kelsey Luckey, Nathan, Katie & Keith Read; Great-Great Grandchild Dillan Read.
