Obituary of Shelley I Tampier

Shelley I. Tampier 66, of Hampton NJ passed away peacefully Thursday May 11, 2017 with her loving family and beloved dogs by her side.

Born in Asbury NJ May 21, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Helen (Miller) Keiper. Shelley was the youngest of three children, predeceased by a brother and a sister. 

Shelley was a self-employed hair dresser and owner of The Hair Station in Hampton NJ.

She was member of the Hampton Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary for over 35 years. She was a member of the Musconetcong Valley Presbyterian Church in Hampton NJ.

Shelley was an amazing cook and artist. She loved music and entertaining, playing cards with friends and gardening. 

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, William Tampier, a son Colby and his wife Colleen of Moore Twp PA, daughters Michele Bolanowski of Hampton NJ and Danielle Tampier and her husband Michael Bess of Phillipsburg NJ, six grandchildren, and predeceased by two grandsons.

There will be a gathering of family and friends from 2-4 PM on Monday May 15, 2017 at the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave, Washington NJ followed by a celebration of life at Hampton Fire Co at 4 PM.
