Obituary of Johnnie Manley

Johnnie Manley, 65 of Port Murray, New Jersey passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Monday, July 18, 2011. Johnnie was born on July 3, 1946 in Henderson, NC. She was the daughter of late Mr. and Mrs. John and Virda Lee (Harris) Davis. She worked as a LPN at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, Hackettstown , NJ . Johnnie is a member of the Hillcrest Seventh Day Adventist Church, Port Murray, NJ. She taught Sabbath School, did Prison ministry, and was the health ministries director along with.many other services in the church. She is predeceased by her husband; Otis Manley. She is survived by her sisters; Mamie E. Perry and Enriqueta Clarke, her children; Mary Yarborough of Buford, GA, Jennifer and husband Robert Thomas of Lawrenceville, GA, Jocelyn and husband David Shokai of Tucker, GA, Felicia and husband Chris Alexander of Atlanta, GA, Deborah and husband Dwayne Stafford of Syracuse, NY, Kennee and husband Rico Moore of San Diego, CA, Anghel and wife AlthiaAshmeade of Port Murray, NJ, Otis Manley III of Durham, NC, Aaron and wife Janet Manley of Tyner, NC, 20 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and many special relatives and friends. Visitation will be on Saturday, July 23, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Hillcrest Seventh-day Adventist Church. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the church.
