Obituary of Nancy Merrill

Nancy L. Merrill, 72, of Washington, New Jersey passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Brakeley Park Care Center, Lopatcong, NJ. Nancy was born on January 14, 1940 in Easton, PA. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary ( nee Fritts) Beers. Nancy worked for Fliegauf Jewelers for over 20 years. She loved crafting and quilting. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Washington Township Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her loving husband, Arthur Merrill of 47 years. She is also survived by two sons, Mark Merrill and wife Paula of Washington, NJ, and Kurt Merrill and wife Laura of Washington, NJ, four grandsons, John, Kyle, Jason, and Matthew Merrill. She was predeceased by a sister. A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc., 136 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. A visitation will be held on Monday, July 23, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A service will be held Monday, July 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. An interment will follow at Montana Cemetery, Harmony Township, NJ.
