Obituary of Jonathan Swenson Allen

Jonathan Swenson Allen, 60, of Mansfield Township passed away at home on January 20, 2016. Jonathon was born in Newton, NJ to the late Arthur and Dorothy (Swenson) Allen on July 7, 1955. He graduated North Hunterdon High School in 1973. He worked at Camp Bernie in the Maintence Department. He was also a horseback riding instructor. He loved to ride horses, completing jigsaw puzzles, and yardwork. He was of the Presbyterian faith. Surviving Jonathon is his sister Nancy Roberts of Port Murray, NJ. He was preceded in death by a brother Arthur “Butch” Allen. A viewing will be held on Monday January 25, 2016 from 6-8 pm at the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday January 26 at 11 am also at the funeral home with Mario Spador presiding.
