Obituary of Wanda Wolf

Wanda Mabel Rush Wolf 91 of Washington NJ, died peacefully at St Lukes Hospital in Bethlehem on Sunday July 24th 2011. Wanda was born on February 8, 1920 in Oxford, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond and Mabel ( nee Miller) Rush. Wanda was a graduate and Salutatorian of Hackettstown High School in 1937. She continueed her education at New Jersey College of Women in 1941. After school she became a 7th-8th grade teacher at Taylor. Wanda was an avid bridge player, wonderful wife and mother. She belonged to the Women's Club of Washington and the Washington Presbyterian Church, Washington, NJ. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years; G. Edward Wolf. She is survived by a son; Bruce and wife Kay Wolf of Annandale, NJ, a daughter Laurie Chidester of Columbia, MD, and two grandchilren; Alycia and Erin. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc., 136 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882.
