Obituary of Catherine May

Catherine A. May, 80, of Washington, NJ died Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the Brakeley Park Care Center, Lopatcong Township, NJ. Born in Harrisburg, PA on April 26, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Frank J. May and Kathryn Marie O'Hay May. She was a 1948 graduate of Washington High School. Her 43 year employment career included 20 years with the Washington Coal Company and 20 years with the New Jersey American Water Company. She was an avid seamstress and at one time owned The Material Shop in Washington. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Washingon, NJ. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by two sisters; Alma Perry And Elizabeth (Betty) Merrill and a brother, Robert F. May, died earlier. Services will be private, at the convenience of the family.
