Obituary of Martin Weston

Martin G. Weston Sr. 71 of Oxford NJ died at his home on April 10th 2011. He was born in Springfield NJ, July 21, 1939. He was the son of the late George and Ethel Montanye Weston. Martin was owner and operator of Weston Plumbing and Heating in Oxford NJ since 1954. He also owned Oxford Hardware Store in Oxford NJ. He was a member the Water Gap Counrty Club from 1990-2009, where he loved to play golf. He was a member of the Oxford Lions Club and the Oxford Fire Company Social Club. Martin enjoyed working on old cars. His first wife the former Janet Hawk preceded him in death in 1989. He is survived by his second wife Peggy Davis Weston, sons, Marty Jr of Annadale NJ and Leonard M. of Oxford NJ, daughters Kathy E. Woolf of Oxford NJ, Jacquline C Weston of Delaware Water Gap PA, and Bonnie M. Boyd and her husband Charles G. Jr of Oxford NJ, 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, stepsons, Ronald Davidowicz, Jospeh Gonzalez and Peter Capozzolo, step daughters Cheryl Davidowicz, Bernadette Barry and Donna Gonzalez, 10 step grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren. Martin was also preceded in death by a son Mark Allan in 1977, a brother George, a sister Elizabeth (Betty) Lowe and a step grandchild. Visitation will be Tuesday April 12th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave Washington NJ 07882, Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 am.
