Obituary of Robert Trevorrow

Robert C. Trevorrow, 74 of Washington, NJ passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at his home with his loving family at his side. Robert was born on October 8, 1937 in Roxbury, NJ. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward and Mary (nee Cooms) Trevorrow. Robert and his beloved wife Joan (Bodine) Trevorrow celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary on June 8, 2012. Robert was a graduate of Roxbury High School, Class of 1956. Robert served in the United States Navy from 1956-1960. Robert was retired from JCP&L in 1996 after 31 years of service. Robert enjoyed playing golf, doing cryptograms and crytoquotes. He enjoyed watching his New York Jets football team and New York Mets baseball team. He also enjoyed following Clemson University baseball team and the Scranton University baseball team, along with the Martins Creek (Creekers). He was also a fan of Moravian College baseball and football teams. He enjoyed spending time with his 11 grandchildren. He was an Exempt Member of the Wharton Fire Department Station 39 and Former Captain. A social member of Oxford Fire Department Social Club Station 39. He was also a member of the American Legion of Belvidere, NJ. He is survived by his loving wife, Joan (Bodine) Trevorrow, and his children, Kelly Wunder and her husband Eric of Dover, NJ, Scott Trevorrow and his wife Debbie of Randolph, NJ, Jay Trevorrow and his wife Sarah of Ledgewood, NJ, Ronda Lee Debacco and her husband Thomas of Goodyear, AZ, Randy Groff and his wife Bonnie of Oxford, NJ, and Robert Groff and his wife Jody of Changewater, NJ, Eleven grandchildren, Tiffany Trevorrow, Kevin Wells, Julia and Aaron Trevorrow, Jennifer and Courtney Groff, Brittanie Klucker, Jordan and Thomas Debacco, and Sarah and Amber Groff, and a sister, Jean Plumb of Stanhope, NJ, and brothers, Kenneth Trevorrow of Batley, NJ and Fred Trevorrow of Hackettstown, NJ and many nieces and nephews. Robert was predeceased in death by his loving first wife Catherine (Stopa) Trevorrow, his parents Edward and Mary Trevorrow, and two brothers, Ted and David Trevorrow. Friends may call at the DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc., 136 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882 on Saturday, August 25, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
