Obituary of Sharon Kieffer

Sharon D. Kieffer, 67 of Slatington, PA but formerly of Harmony Township, NJ passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, PA. Sharon was born on July 4, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilard and Ann ( nee Kirchof) Yorke. Sharon loved crafts, crocheting, gardening, and painting. She was happily married for 32 years to Robert and they both enjoyed their antique car hobby. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years; Robert Kieffer. She is also survived by her mother Ann Yorke, two daughters; Lillian Lombardi, and Robin Hammerstone, four step-sons, two brothers; John Yorke and Leon Yorke, a sister; Deanna Scarpa, and nine grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 16, 2011 from 2:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc., 136 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. A service will held on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. in the funeral home. A burial will follow at North Hardyston Cemetery, North Church Road, Hamburg, NJ 07419 .
