Obituary of Jason Brownell

Jason F. Brownell, age 25 of Bangor, PA passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, PA. Jason was born on November 6, 1985 in Phillipsburg, NJ. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John and Irene ( nee Farley) Brownell. Jason was a 2004 graduate of Warren County Technical School, Washington, NJ. He was a maintenance technician at M&M Mars, Hackettstown, NJ. Jason enjoyed off roading and was a member of the Pocono Pistal Club, he loved bowling, and excelled at electronics while at Warren County Technical School. Jason had crafted his skills on every electrical and constuction project his father was involved with since Jason was 8 years old. He is survived by his parents, John and Irene Brownell. He is also survived by a brother; John Brownell Jr. and wife Sabrina of East Bangor, PA, a fiancee of four and a half years; Caitlin Sullivan, maternal grandmother Gertrude farley of Broadway, NJ and maternal grandfather; Raymond Farley of Glen Gardner, NJ, paternal grandmother; Audrey Schmidt, Broadway, NJ, three nephews; Ty, Troy, and Trent in which he enjoyed spending time with. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 12, 2011 from 1-3 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. at the DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc., 136 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Montana Cemetery, Harmony Township, NJ.
