Obituary of Robert Woolsey

Robert Gray Woolsey 93, of Asbury NJ died Wednesday February 17, 2010 at his home in Asbury. He was born in Brooklyn NY, June 2, 1916. He was the son of the late Stephen and Edna Lyons Woolsey. He was a retired Vice President of Continental Insurance of Manhatten NY Gray was a pilot in the US Air Force during World War 2. Among his deocrations he received the Distinguised Flying Cross. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Washington NJ and Volunteered at the Warren County ibrary. Gray was known throughout the area and loved by all who came across his path. His loving wife the former Emily Seals preceded him in death in 2003. He was also preceded in death by his brother Stephen and sisters, Elizabeth Wyman and Majorie Cornwell. Surviving are his daughters, Ora Feher of Cary NC, Roberta Jensen of Buttsville NJ and Deborah Andersen of Asbury NJ and 6 grandchildren Matthew, Amanda, Tara, Mark, Sarah, and David. Funeral Services will be held on Monday February 22, 2010 at 11:30 AM in the United Methodist Church 116 East Washington Ave, Washington NJ 07882. Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church. Interment to follow in the Greenwich Cemetery, Greenwich Twp NJ.
