Obituary of Harold Miller

Harold Miller 80, of Stroudsburg PA, formerly of Washington NJ died Monday August 5th in the Pleasant Valley Manor in Stroudsburg PA He was born in Washington NJ on February 10th 1933. He was the son of the late Elmer and Ruth Hendershot Miller. Harold was a Color Chemist for the former Oxford Textile in Oxford NJ. He served in the United States Army in the Korean War from 1952-1956. Harold was a graduate of Washington High school, and was a one time member of the Oxford Fire Co. He was also a member of the United Methodist Church in Washington NJ. His wife Martha Jean (Stoor) Miller preceded him in death in 2009. Harold is survived by his son Ronald Miller of Stroudsburg PA, a sister Madelon Dennis of Belvidere NJ, 4 grandchildren, Shannon Miller of Catasauqua pa, Ronald Miller Jr of Stroudsburg PA, Richard Hyde and Reanne Hyde of PA, and a great grandchild Nena Hartzell of Catasauqua pa. Harold was predeceased by 3 daughters, Elaine Miller, Karen Miller and Barbara Miller, 4 brothers, Elmer, Francis, Joseph and Carl, and 2 sisters, Ella Miller and Ruth Appleby. Graveside Services will be Thursday August 8th at 11AM at the Musconetcong Valley Cemetery, Hampton NJ. The DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave Washington NJ has been entrusted with his arrangements.
