Obituary of Judith C Shay

Judith C Shay, 74 of Port Murray NJ, passed away in her home on Monday January 11, 2016. She was born in Delaware PA on March 8, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Dorothy Foresman. Her siblings are sisters Barbara of PA, Dorothy and Karen both of Florida, two brothers Elmer of Florida and Jack who died earlier. She was a loving wife to John Shay whom she was married to for 48 years. A loving mother to sons Kenneth Black of Blairstown and John T Shay III who passed away earlier. Daughters, Debbie Black of Budd Lake, Barbara Black of Delaware and Tammy Gazzio of Brodheadsville PA. Loving grandmother of 9 grandchildren Elizabeth, Crystal, Mike, Vince, Ashley, Andy, Jenny, Merissa and Anthony. A loving great grandmother to 13 great grandchildren. Judith was employed at Elastimold and Heath Village for many years. She was known for always putting others before herself and family was always the most important thing in her life. Funeral Services will be Saturday at 2:30 PM in the DeVoe Funeral Service,136 West Washington Ave, Washington NJ 07882. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 in the funeral home. Interment will be in the Musconetcong Valley Cemetery, Hampton NJ Memorials to the American Heart Asso. At www.heart.org
