Obituary of Elizabeth Sillett

Elizabeth " Lizzie" Sillett, 85, of Oxford, New Jersey passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Lopatcong Nursing Home, Lopatcong, NJ. Elizabeth was born on April 12, 1927 in Oxford, New Jersey. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas and Elizabeth ( nee Backi) Gero. Lizzie was a member of the Oxford Senior Citizens and Mansfield Senior Citizens. She was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church, Oxford, NJ. She was very active in the church and loved volunteering. She is survived by a daughter, Marie Harbar of Davie, FL, and two grandchildren; Alexander and Steven Harbar. She is predeceased by four brothers; Joseph, John, Alfred, and William Gero, and a sister; Margaret Sillett. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 23, 2012 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc., 136 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. A service will be held on Monday, April 23, 2012 at 6:00p.m. at the funeral home. An interment will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Hillside Cemetery, Oxford, NJ.
