Obituary of Jose Rivera

Jose Manuel Rivera 20, of Phillipsburg NJ died November 12, 2011 in Robert Woods Johnson Medical Center. He was born in Phillipsburg NJ May 14, 1991. He was the son of Mariano Rivera and Bonnie Osburn of Phillipsburg NJ. He loved his XBOX 360 and was known as "The Captain" or the "Leader" of his more than 250 friends he "gamed" with. In addition to his parents, he is survived by 3 brothers, Victor Rivera of South Carolina, Edward Osburn of Moblie Alabama, Mariano Rivera Jr at home and a step brother Mano F. Rivera of Phillipsburg NJ, 3 sisters, Wendy Sue Osburn and Betty Jane Osburn both of Washington NJ and Mariana Rivera of Phillipsburg NJ and many Aunts and Uncles and nieces and nephews whom loved him dearly. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. Jose's arrangements have been entrusted to the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave, Washington NJ.
