Obituary of Helen Prakopcyk

Helen Prakopcyk 85 of East Stroudsburg PA formerly of Washington NJ died Monday May 6th in the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg PA. She was born in Oxford NJ March 12, 1928. One of 12 children born to the daughter of the late George and Mary Hozanick Metroke. Helen retired from Oxwall Tool in Oxford NJ. She was a member of St Ann's Catholic Church in Hampton NJ Her husband Myron Prakopcyk preceded her in death on November 22, 1987. Survivng are her daughter Terry Oleniacz in Kansas, two grandaughters and 4 great grandchildren, a sister Betty Thompson of Budd lake NJ, a long time friend Robert Tilley of East Stroudsburg PA and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Friday May 10th at 11:30AM in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave Washington NJ with Fr. Michael Saharic officiating. Family and friends may call 10:30 to 11:30 in the funeral home. Interment to follow at St Ann Cemetery, Hampton NJ Donations to the Funeral home in care of the family.
