Obituary of Thomas Hunter

Thomas E. Hunter, 82, of Port Murray, NJ passed away in Brakely Park Care Center on October 19, 2014. He was born on July 30, 1932 to Miles and Helen Hunter. Thomas served in the U.S. Navy from 1951-1959 and proudly during the Korean War. He was a fireman for Sumter County Fire and Rescue in Bushnell, Florida from 1998-2008. He also worked on the oil rigs for a number of years. Thomas is survived by his son Joseph, daughter-in-law Valerie Hunter of Oakland, NJ, and 3 grandsons Christian, Jace, and Jathen. He was cared for by his ex-wife Shirley Kennedy for the past 3 years. Cremation to be held aat the H.G. Smith Crematory Stroudsburg, NJ.
