Obituary of Sara Stanford

Sara Stanford, age 102, formerly of Washington, NJ died Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Country Arch Care Center of Union Township, NJ. Sara was born October 14, 1907 in Washington, NJ, a daughter of the late Enos and the late Mary (Phillips) Walter. She was a past member of the United Methodist Church, Washington. She enjoyed oil painting, reading poetry and traveling. She especially loved to knit and crochet. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Stanford in1984. She is survived by a niece, Mary Depperman and her husband Kenneth of Scitvate, MA. In addition to her husband, Frank she is predeceased by a brother, Enos Walter; five sisters, Iola Bonash, Anna Supplee, Sula Zeek, Virginia Miller, and Doris Ackerman and a nephew, Henderson Supplee. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 12 at Easton Heights Cemetery, Easton, PA.
