Obituary of Zenia Eckel

Zenia Lolas Eckel, of Washington Township died peacefully at home on December 5, 2013. She was born in New York City and was the daughter of the late Arsen and Anna (Yacko) Lolas. She was predeceased in death by her husband Daniel S. Eckel in 2011. She was employed by the United States Post Office as the Postmaster. She was a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Washington. Zenia was a 1938 graduate of Blairstown High School. She is survived by her son Daniel H. Eckel of Easton, PA, a son James A. Eckel of Egg Harbor Township, NJ, a son John H. Eckel of Wall, NJ, a daughter Debra Walsh of Flemington, NJ. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. She was also pre-deceased by a brother Arsen Lolas, Jr. and as sister Jenny Addision. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church 200 W Carlton Ave. Washington, NJ at 10:30 am, December 11, 2013. Interment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
