Obituary of Louis Oberman

Louis J. Oberman, 69, of Washington, NJ died on June 21, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital in Phillipsburg, NJ. Louis was born on April 21, 1946 to Sam and Jeanette (Lance) Oberman in Phillipsburg, NJ. He graduated from Washington High School in 1964. He then went on to become a maintenance machinist for M&M Mars for 23 years until he retired in 1996. Louis loved all sports particularly Nascar. He played tennis and racquetball and won awards from The Flanders Racquetball Club. He loved vacationing with his wife at his favorite spot, Beach Haven, LBI. He had two Rottweillers, Boss and Max, that he loved very much. Louis is survived by his wife of 47 years Christina (Sanderson), two daughters Michelle Raine of Washington, NJ and Lisa Oberman-Dianas of PA. and a grandson Brian Dianas. He is also survived by his sister Carol Capra of Laconia, NH and his nephews Michael and his wife Liana, Thomas, Marc, and Troy and his wife Summer. DeVoe Funeral Service has been entrusted with the arrangements. A memorial service will be held on July 18, 2015 at 11am at DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882.
