Obituary of Rachel Anne Wall

Rachel Anne Wall, a current resident of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on July 27th, 2022, at the age of 32 years old. Rachel was predeceased by her father, Joseph Wall and is survived by her mother, Jean Burne, sister, Abigail Mehalik, brother-in-law Eric Mehalik, beloved nieces Iris and Maeve and partner Mike Lada. 

Rachel was born on October 17th, 1989. She was raised in Washington, NJ, where she graduated from Warren Hills Regional High School. She then graduated with honors from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, and then she proceeded to earn her Master’s Degree in Principles of Communication and Professional Development, also from Rutgers.

Rachel was an incredibly generous, loving individual who would truly give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. She loved to spend her time helping others, all of whom she accepted with open arms and never an ounce of judgement. She was an avid animal lover, always adopting and caring for those in need the most. When she wasn’t spending time with her friends and family, gardening, tending to her many indoor plants, and being in nature were hobbies very close to Rachel’s heart.

Memorial visitation will be held at Knoll-DeVoe Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 142 West Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ 07882, on August 17, 2022, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm followed by a Memorial Service at 12:00 pm.
