Amy...just learned of your Dad's passing. I worked @ The Wear House when I was in high school, and always adored both your parents, you and Danny....often wondered what everyone was up to.
So sorry for the pain you are going through with this tremendous loss After viewing the memorial video, I trust the wealth of love and memories of your Mom & Dad will sustain you all through the tough days ahead and their love will be in your hearts for all the days to come. Thinking of you all in sympathy.

The passing of anyone dear to us causes us to reflect on what that person meant to us and, perhaps, what we may have learned from them. Uncle Dick was most certainly the “crazy and fun” uncle that we all can tell funny stories about, but also a man who, when I asked him once why he was so quiet all the time, he replied, “Few words. Deep thoughts”.
But here is what I know to be true: As a young woman, I remember sitting at a gathering watching Arlene and Dick together. And I suddenly realized that this, their relationship, that appeared to be simple and easy, was what it meant to be soul mates. It was truly a profound moment for me that I kept in the forefront of my mind whenever I was in their presence. I just wanted to absorb all of the goodness, kindness, generosity, and the humor in life that they both exuded, as this was the exact nature of their relationship. Thank you. Thank you both for giving me more than any words or my thoughts here could ever convey. But also know that you both are forever in my thoughts.
