Obituary of Joel Moises Ramirez-Urena

Joel Moises Ramirez-Urena, 22 of Blairstown, entered peacefully into eternal life on July 24, 2024, at Morristown Medical Center with his family by his side.  

Joel’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him and cared for him understood the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which he lived.  He graduated from Belvidere High School in 2020 and loved his teachers and many friends he made through his years there.  His gentle smile beamed brightly when it came to Power Rangers. Whether watching the show on TV, collectibles, costumes or helmets.  He was obsessed with them.   He also enjoyed what most people enjoy in life; trips to the beach, eating Chinese Food or Burger King.  

Friends and relatives can visit with Joel’s family on Monday, July 29^th from 6:00 until 9:00 PM at the Knoll-DeVoe Funeral Home & Cremation Service, located at 142 West Washington Avenue, Washington NJ. 

A Prayer Service will take place on Tuesday, July 30^th at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home.  Interment will follow the service at Pequest Union Cemetery, 30 Cemetery Road, Great Meadow’s, NJ 07838.
